What is this resource?

This tool contains a series of decision trees that allow you to assess whether or not to fly to a conference. The tool provides support once you have reached the end of a decision tree, by helping you determine the importance of attending a particular conference or event after you have established that there are no alternatives to flying.

Why use this resource?

While recognising the value of in-person events and that we cannot eliminate air travel entirely from our roles, the tool supports the realisation of multiple Sustainable Development Goals.
